When you start your wedding organization you should ask yourself what kind of wedding you want, what wedding style or theme you like.

Of course there are many different styles for a wedding : Rustic, modern, vintage, classic…
You can build your style around a color or two but it also depends on the season you’ll celebrate it.

What defines you (as a couple of course) ?

It is important to write down words, thoughts, colors, travel places, times, everything you like both.
It will help you see where to go or not, and you can use what you both like to decide what your wedding style will be.
It will certainly eliminate many options !

What kind of venue you chose (or want if you haven’t found it yet) ?

The theme or style you choose will depend on your wedding’s venue, not only because you can’t put the cart before the horse but also because not every style can match the venue.
As you can guess a beach venue will hardly match a Downton Abbey wedding style !
So wait until you find your venue to decide your theme with your fiancé.

Which season ?

Because Mr Weather is the master of our life including your wedding, make sure to take into account the season and the possible unforeseen.
Let the natural colors of the season guide you, the season’s flowers and the landscape.
For example, for a fall wedding use the natural colors and add two other color such as Gold, Taupe, Purple … Make a perfect color combo.

What budget ?

The budget you define comes into account in your wedding style and theme because some theme will requires more decoration, more elements to buy so more money !
As a result, don’t drag yourself into a complicated theme if your budget is restricted, make sure to save some for all the rest !
