Now that you’ve finally found your perfect wedding gown you have to think about all the little details that comes with it to sublimate your outfit!
So here’re 5 rules for accessorizing your Wedding Dress and make sure you won’t make any styling mistake 😉

The Dress first

No need to tell you that you have to choose your Wedding Dress before your accessorizes and not the other way around! It would be a mistake to base your wedding dress on a pair of shoes or a flashy necklace!
So, once you have your wedding dress you can begin your accessories’ hunt and keep in mind your Wedding dress to be sure it will match  and stay in the same style.

Less is more

It’s easy to get carried away by all the lovely flower crowns, shinny necklaces or colourful shoes as being a bride is a once in a lifetime thing; it is natural to want everything and anything… BUT, unfortunately you have to choose among a vast number of pretty accessories.
If you want colourful shoes and matching earrings forget about gloves, necklace or tiara… Your wedding day is not a costume party, right?

Something…

Blue? New? Borrowed? Accessories are a good opportunity to follow this tradition and pretty easy to find! Blue shoes, new earrings or family veil…Ask your family if they have something old you can wear as an accessorize or your sister’s bracelet you love so much as something borrowed..!

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

Think about the actual Wedding Day when choosing your accessories ,not the perfect idea you have of it. Of course it will be perfect but keep in mind that there are a few unpleasant things we can’t avoid!
First, remember that you will be standing and walking around for hours and your beautiful high heels can quickly become unbearable.
Walking around bare foot is of course out of the question so either go for comfortable shoes or think about taking another pair of shoes (wedges for example) for the rest of the night!
The Weather… it can be our best friend or our worst enemy but you have to be prepared in case mother nature is in a really bad mood on your W-day… I know you think that your weeding dress makes you a Super Woman but let’s be reasonable and think about a little shawl or a cosy angora jumper for the style (and the wind…)

Be yourself

Your wedding is not an excuse to transform yourself completely, quite the opposite!
Don’t change your style too much, and don’t go too far on the bridal relooking, otherwise you will not feel good and it’s really not the goal here, trust me!
And I am sure your fiancé won’t really appreciate kissing “someone else”, am I wrong?

Now here are some ideas for accessorizing your wedding dress, just in case you’re running out of inspiration…. 😉
