Christmas Wedding

D-1 before Christmas! This is the best time of the year, families and friends are gathered for this special celebration, and everybody is waiting for Santa, hoping to get all the presents they wanted.
Patience, we can almost hear the bells from Santa’s Sleigh!

Meanwhile, here at Label’ Emotion London with a real festive spirit, we thought that we could entertain and maybe inspire you with ideas and inspirations for a Fabulous Christmas Wedding!

This time of the year makes everyone happy, the natural colors, the gifts, the mulled wine, the fire, the snow, Christmas trees and everything we can find at Christmas is beautiful, cosy and nice.
For all those reasons, we think that a Christmas Wedding can be more special and meaningful than anything!

There are actually many colors you can use for your decoration and theme.
Of course, Red and Green are the traditional Christmas Colors, but you can also make beautiful combinations such as Silver and White, Gold and Cream, White and Red etc..
It will depend on the style you want for your wedding, your venue and your ceremony. The environment, the style of the venue can help you find out which way you should follow.
After taking these elements into account, you might be able to choose your colors combo, but don’t forget that winter may be a theme on its own so don’t mix different themes and elements.

One of the most important things when you want to get married in December is to make sure nobody (including you!) will get cold.
Everything has to be strategically thought and perfectly organized!

If you are planning an outdoor ceremony, place warm blankets on each chair, and your wedding favors could be gloves, or scarves for example.
Indoor Ceremony, less concerns but you should ask your Church or Venue their Heating Facilities and make sure there are some.
You can’t let your guests freeze during the ceremony, this would kill your reception and party, because you know as much as we do that cold can ruin anything, there are nothing more unpleasant than being cold.
Use the cosy blankets for the reception too, even if your dinner is inside, prevention is always better than cure, and in this case, your wedding mood is the main concern.

For the decoration, you can add many festive touches, fairy lights are very important!
Use candles and tea light holders as much as you can! Christmas trees, holly branches, silver bells etc..
Create a real Wonderland Wedding and make your guests feel cosy in a warm atmosphere.

Warm everybody up after after the ceremony by welcoming your guests with mulled wine!
Hot chocolate for the kids (and for the grown up too!), a real marshmallow bar with a fireplace, foie gras, smoked salmon and Christmas treats for the cocktails.
A fountain of chocolate? I’m telling you, kids won’t be the only ones to love it!

There are also so many little details you can use for the outfits, make your wedding dress or your flower girls look Christmassy!
As many of you have probably seen, our dear Olivia Palermo got married with a cream jumper, and it was absolutely beautiful!! (Ok and her husband as well! ;))
A nice jumper, a cardigan, a cape or a fur jacket can add a winter and trendy touch to your outfit!
For the flower girls, white and wool tights, cute white hats, warm jackets, and little creamy uggs ??
For your bridesmaids, go for long dresses and long sleeves for an elegant and beautiful outfit.
For the groom, as you can guess, this is easier…
