If you want to create a funny activity for your guests here’s some advice and ideas to create a photo booth at your wedding !

First, you have to decide what kind of photo booth you prefer, is it the kind with a big frame like a real Polaroid frame ? or one with an original background ?

In both case you will need some funny accessories, hats, moustaches, sunglasses, wigs … anything original and easy to wear for your guests !

For the first option, you can either buy a big polaroid frame (on Etsy for example) or create it (it’s easy we promise !).

DIY Giant Polaroid Frame

You will need a big cardboard a bit thick, the size of the cardboard depending on what kind of frame you want, how many people you want on the same polaroid picture…

A measuring tape and a pencil to draw and measure the dimensions on each side.

An exacto to cut out the rectangle inside, following the line you made to simulate the shape of a real Polaroid photo.

If you want you can add the date, your names or anything you want at the bottom of the
frame to personalize it.

Stage the Photo booth

For the second option, it is very important to create a background to your photo booth as it adds a touch of personality and fun to your pictures.

Here are some ideas to decorate the background, with frame, garlands, big letters, rubans, wallpaper etc…
You can also put some chairs, sofa or bench in the decor.
